Almost Persuaded

Many people have become "almost persuaded" to become Christians, but at the last moment have turned away. In Acts 26, King Agrippa was almost persuaded but did not cross the finish line. People give many different reasons for not becoming fully persuaded. Some people don't want to deny themselves and are afraid that they have to give up wealth, fame, position or bad habits. Some are chased away when they realize that being a Christian is not an easy walk.

Brother Chuck Brown challenged us to ask what we can do to help the "almost" become "fully" persuaded. He encouraged the congregation to show the love of Christ and to use their gifts and talents to bless and serve others. Believers were challenged to not only look at the spiritual needs, but also meet the physical needs of those around us as an act of God's love.
