The Divided Kingdom of Israel

Central Truth:
Arrogance, injustice, and the lust for power lead to division
Key Verse: Ecclesiastes 4:13
Better is a poor and a wise child than an old and foolish king, who will no more be admonished.
Ministry in Action:
- Ask a trusted friend if you have any blind spots that are keeping you from spiritual growth and maturity. Then pray for the Holy Spirit to fill you to overflowing and cause you to bear His fruit.
- Read Philippians 2:5-10 and list all of the things Jesus willingly surrendered
- List 10 blessings you did nothing to earn (like sunshine, music, or your family's love). Then thank God for these and all His other gifts.
