Works are the Fruit of Love

Guest speaker, Brayden Frederick, spoke on the topic of love. He encouraged us to do things for God and people out of love and not out of obligation. The Pharisees burdened the people with over 600 man-made laws to follow and none of these laws involved love. God gave the people two important commandments to follow, both involving love. These two commandments were "love the Lord your God with all your heart, soul, and mind" and "love your neighbor as yourself." Because God loves us, He equips us to go out into the world and share His love with others.
